## 📋 REMAINING INTEGRATIONS

### STEP 1: Add Item-Level Analytics to Teacher Course Page

**File**: `frontend/src/app/pages/teacher/teacher-course-page.tsx`

**Action**: Add this import at the top
```tsx
import { ItemEmotionStats } from "./components/ItemEmotionStats";
```

**Find** the section where items are displayed in a table. Look for something like:
```tsx
<Table>
  <TableHeader>
    <TableRow>
      <TableHead>Name</TableHead>
      <TableHead>Type</TableHead>
      <TableHead>Order</TableHead>
      // ... other columns
    </TableRow>
  </TableHeader>
  <TableBody>
    {items.map((item) => (
      <TableRow key={item._id}>
        <TableCell>{item.name}</TableCell>
        // ... other cells
      </TableRow>
    ))}
  </TableBody>
</Table>
```

**Add** a new column after the item name:
```tsx
<TableCell>
  <ItemEmotionStats
    itemId={item._id}
    itemName={item.name}
  />
</TableCell>
```

**Full example** (insert after first TableCell):
```tsx
{items.map((item) => (
  <TableRow key={item._id}>
    <TableCell>{item.name}</TableCell>
    {/* NEW: Add this cell */}
    <TableCell>
      <ItemEmotionStats
        itemId={item._id}
        itemName={item.name}
      />
    </TableCell>
    {/* Existing cells continue below */}
    <TableCell>{item.type}</TableCell>
    // ... rest of cells
  </TableRow>
))}
```

---

### STEP 2: Add Student-Level Analytics (Choose ONE option)

#### **OPTION A: Add to Student Detail Modal** (Recommended - Easiest)

**File**: Wherever student detail modal is rendered

**Add** imports:
```tsx
import { Tabs, TabsContent, TabsList, TabsTrigger } from "@/components/ui/tabs";
import { StudentEmotionJourney } from "./components/StudentEmotionJourney";
```

**Wrap** existing student details in tabs:
```tsx
{/* Before: had static detail content */}
<StudentDetailModal student={student} />
{/* After: wrap in tabs */}
<Tabs defaultValue="details" className="w-full">
  <TabsList>
    <TabsTrigger value="details">Details</TabsTrigger>
    <TabsTrigger value="emotions">😊 Emotions</TabsTrigger>
  </TabsList>
  <TabsContent value="details">
    {/* Original content here */}
    <StudentDetailContent student={student} />
  </TabsContent>
  <TabsContent value="emotions">
    <StudentEmotionJourney
      courseId={COURSE_ID}
      courseVersionId={VERSION_ID}
      studentName={student.name}
    />
  </TabsContent>
</Tabs>
```

---

#### **OPTION B: Add to Student Row Expansion** (Moderate - Show/hide)

**File**: `frontend/src/app/pages/teacher/course-enrollments.tsx`

**Add** import:
```tsx
import { StudentEmotionJourney } from "./components/StudentEmotionJourney";
```

**Add** state for expanded student:
```tsx
const [expandedStudentId, setExpandedStudentId] = useState<string | null>(null);
```

**Modify** student row to include expand button and expanded content:
```tsx
{enrollmentsData?.enrollments?.map((student) => (
  <React.Fragment key={student._id}>
    {/* Student Row */}
    <TableRow className="cursor-pointer" onClick={() =>
      setExpandedStudentId(expandedStudentId === student._id ? null : student._id)
    }>
      <TableCell>
        <div className="flex items-center gap-2">
          <ChevronRight
            className={`h-4 w-4 transition-transform ${
              expandedStudentId === student._id ? "rotate-90" : ""
            }`}
          />
          {student.name}
        </div>
      </TableCell>
      {/* ... other cells */}
    </TableRow>
    {/* Expanded Content */}
    {expandedStudentId === student._id && (
      <TableRow>
        <TableCell colSpan={99} className="bg-accent/5 p-4">
          <StudentEmotionJourney
            courseId={COURSE_ID}
            courseVersionId={VERSION_ID}
            studentName={student.name}
          />
        </TableCell>
      </TableRow>
    )}
  </React.Fragment>
))}
```

---

#### **OPTION C: Create New Analytics Page** (Advanced - Full page)

**File**: Create `frontend/src/app/pages/teacher/student-emotion-insights.tsx`

```tsx
"use client";
import { useState } from "react";
import { useParams, useNavigate } from "@tanstack/react-router";
import { Card, CardContent, CardHeader, CardTitle } from "@/components/ui/card";
import { Button } from "@/components/ui/button";
import { ArrowLeft } from "lucide-react";
import { StudentEmotionJourney } from "./components/StudentEmotionJourney";
import { useCourseStore } from "@/store/course-store";
export default function StudentEmotionInsights() {
  const params = useParams({ from: "/teacher/courses/$courseId/student/$studentId/emotions" });
  const navigate = useNavigate();
  const { currentCourse } = useCourseStore();
  const { courseId, studentId } = params;
  const studentName = "Student"; // Get from student data if available
  return (
    <div className="p-6 max-w-6xl mx-auto">
      <div className="flex items-center gap-4 mb-6">
        <Button
          variant="ghost"
          size="icon"
          onClick={() => navigate({ to: "/teacher/courses/$courseId/enrollments", params: { courseId } })}
        >
          <ArrowLeft className="h-4 w-4" />
        </Button>
        <h1 className="text-3xl font-bold">😊 Emotion Insights</h1>
      </div>
      <StudentEmotionJourney
        courseId={courseId}
        courseVersionId={currentCourse?.versionId || ""}
        studentName={studentName}
      />
    </div>
  );
}
```

**Add route** to router configuration:
```tsx
{
  path: "/teacher/courses/$courseId/student/$studentId/emotions",
  component: StudentEmotionInsights,
}
```

## 🐛 TROUBLESHOOTING

### "No emotion data available yet"
- **Cause**: No emotions submitted for this item/course
- **Fix**: Submit emotions from student page first
- **Verify**: Check MongoDB collection: `db.emotions.countDocuments()`

### Component not appearing
- **Cause**: Import missing or component file path wrong
- **Fix**: Verify import path matches exactly
- **Verify**: File exists at: `frontend/src/app/pages/teacher/components/`

### API returns 401 Unauthorized
- **Cause**: Not authenticated for emotion history endpoint
- **Fix**: Make sure authentication token is sent
- **Verify**: Check network tab for Authorization header

### Charts not rendering
- **Cause**: Recharts library issue or data format
- **Fix**: Check browser console for errors
- **Verify**: Data structure matches expected format

### Data not updating
- **Cause**: React Query cache not invalidating
- **Fix**: Manually refresh page or wait for cache timeout
- **Verify**: Check if new emotionsare in database
